We invite you to make your payment via PayPal (160$) which will be sent directly to the festival director, Patrick Kearney. Here are the other payment options: bank draft, money order, or personal cheque. Please ensure that we receive your payment one week before the start of the festival.

Prizes
- 1^st = Grand Prix SAVAREZ, $2000
- 2^nd = $1000
- 3^rd = $500
- The 3 finalists will receive SAVAREZ / ALLIANCE-CORUM strings
- The following festivals will be offering a concert opportunity to one of the finalists:
  - Sauble Beach Festival Of The Classical Guitar
  - Toronto Guitar Society
  - (Maybe Others)

Rules
- General rules
  
  The Montreal International Classical Guitar Competition is open to any classical guitarist regardless of age; however those under main management are not permitted to participate.
  
  First place winners of previous years cannot compete in the following years.
  
  Competitors will be stopped at the end of their maximum time limit, with no penalty. Works played in previous rounds may be played in subsequent rounds at no penalty to the competitor.
- Rounds
- A program (for all rounds) must be presented to the competition director, Patrick Kearney, on the day of General Registration.
  
  All music presented in any of the 3 rounds must already be works published by an established commercial publishing house (ex.: Chanterelle, Schott, Productions d'Oz, etc.)
  - 1^st round : qualifications
    - free choice (10 minutes maximum)
  - 2^nd round : semi-Finals
    - free choice (15 minutes maximum)
  - 3^rd round : finals
    - free choice (25 minutes maximum)

Registration fee of $160 Includes:
1. Performing/playing in Montreal International Classical Guitar Competition
2. Performing/playing in two master classes
3. Admission to all concerts and events

Payment
$160 before May 22, 2020 (180$, in cash, the day of registration).

The payment for all the competitions is non refundable.

The Competition and Festival registration fee must be made out to « Guitare Montréal » and must be shipped to
